#Mythothon Wrap Up

November was time for Mythothon readathon, which was so much fun! If you missed my sign up and TBR post with all the details, you can find it here. Although, truthfully, I totally detoured from the partial TBR I set - I only ended up reading two from that. However, I read total of 12 books and thus completed 12 prompts - and managed to get bingo twice!

I tweeted about my updates on Twitter, so here's link if you want to have a look.

Anyway, here's picture of all the books I read (ebooks have only cover represented).

During the month, I read total of 2,620 pages, which is kind of awesome!

#Mythothon Sign Up & TBR

Mythothon is a month long readathon that will run from 1st to the 30th November in everyone's own timezone and it is hosted by Foxes and Fairytales. Head over there to find out more about the readathon and to sign up, if you're planning to join.

Anything goes - books, novellas, graphic novels, audiobooks etc.

To live up the name of the readathon, there are prompts in Ancient Greek style, which everyone can tackle how they want. I'll include both the graphic and the lay down of the prompts before going through my partial TBR. There are few books I'm sure I'll read, and everything else will be decided by my ever changing mood during the month. So I'm not sure which prompts I will do - we'll find it at the end of November!

Demeter, Goddess of Agriculture - Read a book with a nature world in the title (e.g. leaf, wind, flower)

My partial TBR

I haven't really decided the prompts as I can fit most of the TBR to at least two prompts. However, as soon as I saw Achilles and Patroclus as a prompt, I knew I was going to reread The Song of Achilles and use it for that prompt - how could I not? I've also pre-ordered Stephen Fry's Heroes, which I'll likely read and use for Homer prompt, because that's poetic if anything.

If you're joining the readathon, let me know, I'd love to check out your TBR post!

#COYER Summer 2017 Sign Up

COYER

I'm so excited about the COYER reading challenge, even if I failed it notoriously last summer. Last summer was so bad reading wise for me, but I hope to conquer that this year - especially since I have been doing well so far! So I'm hoping that COYER will continue to inspire me to read more and stay on top of my reading coals for this year!

COYER is hosted by Berls @ Fantasy is More Fun, Michelle @ Because Reading and Stormi @ Books, Movies, Reviews! Oh My!

COYER will run from June 17th to September 9th, 2017.

The Rules
1. You must create a sign-up post anytime between now and August 1st – on blog, goodreads, fb, google+, etc.Yes, that means you can sign up until August 1st! But don’t wait, you’ll miss most of the fun!
2. You must link to the sign-up post below (don’t link to your blog, link to the sign-up post).
3. You must review books somewhere & link the reviews to the review linky to be eligible for one of the grand prize giveaways.
4. Have Fun!

There's also few additional rules if you want to take part of the Summer Reading List challenge and you can find those on the sign up post here, but I chose not to take part of that because I'm not that good of following TBR's and I'd rather wing it. I, however, made up a tiny plan to just give you (and me) an idea what I'd like to do during COYER.

The Plan
I'd like to read 2 books per week, at least. It shouldn't be too challenging because if I'm on top of my reading game, then I can usually read from two to four books per week (and then I slack for few weeks so yeah, bad me). I'll be delighted if I manage to read more than two books per week! Overall my goal for the whole year is sixty books which is five books per month, so I'll aim to read at least the minimum of five books per month.

Secondly, I try to read similar amount of ebooks and physical books. This will depend a lot of my moods and what kind of books I have on hand and on my Kindle, but I'll probably read both formats, especially since I prefer ebooks when I travel and I have two longer trips planned for the summer. I'm not fan of audiobooks so I probably won't listen any of those.

I'll try to post an update post every Sunday once the COYER challenge starts.

#FreeReadsWeek Wrap Up

Oh well. I failed completely as I managed to read only one book during the week for free reads. I'm happy that I read it as I enjoyed it a lot, and it inspired me to focus a bit more on those books on my Kindle app which I usually tend to ignore.

The reason why I failed so majorly is simple: drama in life. An unexpected thing demanded my attention, and it couldn't be avoided. I was also way too hooked up on Downton Abbey so I marathoned it a lot while I could have been reading. Oh well. I'm still happy that I participated because I managed to read that one free story and now I have a desire to read more of them so I'd say the challenge did something good for me.

#FreeReadsWeek Reading Challenge Sign-Up

Free Reads Week is a reading challenge hosted by the lovely Saruuh Kelsey @ Syntax Reviews and it's sole purpose is to read as many free books as you can within a week. I'm so ready for this because my Kindle app is full of free books that I ignore way too much.

The challenge takes place 15th July - 21 July

Begin reading whenever it's 00:00 in your time zone. For UK residents (such as me) it runs from 00:00 GMT on 15th July to 11:59 GMT on 21st July.

The Rules
Read as many free books as you're capable of.

This includes books you got during a free promotion and permafree books.

Post as many reviews as you can! If you don't have a blog, twitter reviews, Goodreads, and Instagram are all awesome!

(Reviews are massively important to indie authors and help readers find these books, even when they're as short as one line, but if you're not able to write a review please at least rate the book on the retailer you purchased from.)

Use the hashtag #FreeReadsWeek when possible!

I haven't set any solid TBR but here's some of the free books on my Kindle that I'm hoping to read. No, I will not be able to finish all of these, probably not even half, but I like to give myself lots of options so here we go:

I'll do a wrap-up post once the reading challenge is over, to let you guys know how did I do and what books did I read.
