COYER Weekly Wrap Up #6-9

COYER
I've been way too lazy the last few weeks to do proper weekly wrap ups. Also, I have barely finished one book per week. However, I'm not too upset about that because I've been reading long books lately - A Conjuring of Light had 666 pages, and I'm on middle of Illuminae (which has 599 pages) and almost done with Luck In The Shadows (which has almost 500 pages with small font). I'm just happy that I'm tackling the bigger books and loving them so much at the moment!

Next week I'm taking part of Bout of Books 20 readathon, so I'm likely to read tons (at least I hope so!)

COYER Weekly Wrap Up #5

COYER
Well, during the fifth week I read two books which is more than I've on previous weeks. It still wasn't the best reading week, I was so distracted by so many things. But I'm happy that I managed to read two books. Next week I'm not sure what happens because I'll be in London and attending YALC so I won't have much time to read. Hopefully I get some reading done on train etc.

COYER Weekly Wrap Up #4

COYER
How it's already beginning of fifth week of COYER? Time certainly flies! Fourth week wasn't any more productive than the weeks before it, as it seems I have a steady pace of one finished book per week. Let's not talk about how many seasons of House MD I can binge watch per week because it's ridiculous amount. Next week (this week because this post is a little bit late) I probably read more than one book because I'm participating on read-a-thon, at least I hope to get a lot of reading done!

Here's what I read and reviewed;

House of Cards (5 stars)

COYER Weekly Wrap Up #3

COYER
Third week of the COYER reading challenge is almost over so it's time do a little wrap up. Third week wasn't any productive than the previous ones as I only finished one book. I haven't been reading much because I've been binge watching House MD. However, I have every intention to read more next week, especially since I have to finish one review copy and I have four books I want to read before YALC at the end of month so I want to read at least one of them during next week. Anyway;

COYER Weekly Wrap Up #2

COYER
Second week of the COYER reading challenge is almost over so it's time do a little wrap up. Despite my intentions, the week was quite busy and I only had time to finish one book. I travelled back to Scotland and did some volunteering work, all of which took more time than I imagined. Hopefully the third week of COYER is more productive for me!

Here's what I read and reviewed;

I haven't reviewed House of Cards yet, so it'll appear on later wrap ups.

COYER Weekly Wrap Up #1

COYER
First week of the COYER reading challenge is almost over so it's time do a little wrap up. The start was a little slow because of I traveled and spend most of the time at the summer cottage but I still managed to read one bigger book and review it. Next week will most likely to be better because I'm in the middle of few different reads.

#COYER Summer 2017 Sign Up

COYER

I'm so excited about the COYER reading challenge, even if I failed it notoriously last summer. Last summer was so bad reading wise for me, but I hope to conquer that this year - especially since I have been doing well so far! So I'm hoping that COYER will continue to inspire me to read more and stay on top of my reading coals for this year!

COYER is hosted by Berls @ Fantasy is More Fun, Michelle @ Because Reading and Stormi @ Books, Movies, Reviews! Oh My!

COYER will run from June 17th to September 9th, 2017.

The Rules
1. You must create a sign-up post anytime between now and August 1st – on blog, goodreads, fb, google+, etc.Yes, that means you can sign up until August 1st! But don’t wait, you’ll miss most of the fun!
2. You must link to the sign-up post below (don’t link to your blog, link to the sign-up post).
3. You must review books somewhere & link the reviews to the review linky to be eligible for one of the grand prize giveaways.
4. Have Fun!

There's also few additional rules if you want to take part of the Summer Reading List challenge and you can find those on the sign up post here, but I chose not to take part of that because I'm not that good of following TBR's and I'd rather wing it. I, however, made up a tiny plan to just give you (and me) an idea what I'd like to do during COYER.

The Plan
I'd like to read 2 books per week, at least. It shouldn't be too challenging because if I'm on top of my reading game, then I can usually read from two to four books per week (and then I slack for few weeks so yeah, bad me). I'll be delighted if I manage to read more than two books per week! Overall my goal for the whole year is sixty books which is five books per month, so I'll aim to read at least the minimum of five books per month.

Secondly, I try to read similar amount of ebooks and physical books. This will depend a lot of my moods and what kind of books I have on hand and on my Kindle, but I'll probably read both formats, especially since I prefer ebooks when I travel and I have two longer trips planned for the summer. I'm not fan of audiobooks so I probably won't listen any of those.

I'll try to post an update post every Sunday once the COYER challenge starts.

#COYER Summer Vacation 2016 Sign-Up

I'm so excited about the COYER reading challenge, because I hope that it'll push me to read more during the summer - especially all those ebooks and review copies that I have yet to read. I'm also behind on my Goodreads reading challenge and my personal goals because the first half of the year I didn't have much time to read because of my studies. I plan on catching up and hopefully get ahead before the autumn comes.

COYER is hosted by Berls @ Fantasy is More Fun, Michelle @ Because Reading and Stormi @ Books, Movies, Reviews! Oh My!

COYER Summer Vacation will run from June 18th to September 2nd.

The Rules
4. Have Fun!

The Plan
I plan to read 2 to 3 books per week, depending on the length of the books. For example, two books if one of the books is long or if both of the books are long, and three books if all of them are around 300 pages or so. Of course, if I read more, that's even better! But realistically I think I will be able to read two or three books for a week and keep that going for most of the summer.

Secondly, I try to read one ebook and one physical book. If I manage to read three books at any week, then the third book can be either an ebook or physical copy. This is because I tend to favour physical copies and that's why I have plenty of ebooks just waiting me to pick them up. I don't want to read only ebooks so I think it'll balance nicely if I read one of both per week.

I don't have any list of books that I want to read, and I don't plan on writing one. I'm a mood reader so I'll go with whatever I have and whatever I feel like.

I'll try to post an update post every Sunday once the COYER challenge starts.
