Behind the Blog

Greetings fellow book lovers! I'm originally from a faraway land of frost and snow - a land of roaming polar bears and howling wolves (okay, who am I kidding, there's no polar bears). A land called Finland. Nowadays I'm living in Scotland and studying history. Let me just say, I love Scotland and adore UK, and I never want to leave.

While I'm learning new things about our glorious, or not so, past, I'm also passionate reader. I will have someday breathtaking book collection and have my own escapee aka little library to call my own. I have a good start with over two hundred books or something around that.

I'm not genre orientated person - I read whatever catches my interest. This moment, however, my main focus is on young adult, LGBT+ fiction and classics (without forgetting all those history books I read for school and pleasure). Dystopians, fantasys, paranormals and mythologys are closest of my heart but contemporary, if it's intriguing, goes too. Sometimes romances just to escape the harsh reality. You'll see that I'm not picky when it comes to genres.

There are some authors of whose books I'll read no matter what they write. Those brilliant and stunning authors inspire me so much - such as Emily Brontë, Kelley York, Rick Riordan, V.E. Schwab, C.S. Pacat, Becky Albertalli, Madeline Miller, Sally Green, Saruuh Kelsey and of course, my childhood maker J.K. Rowling. Without saying, there are others but you'll have read my blog to learn more ;)

And yes, other than to annoy everyone with my ramblings, I'll review books as I read them.

My native language is Finnish and I'm fluent with English. I've also studied German, Swedish and French; first I understand somewhat good, second basics and regular situations, and third just for a little.

You can find me on several places, if you please.

These two alongside my blog are the main ones. Come and say hi, I love meeting new people and I accept friend requests on Goodreads.
